Corina Strim has spent over twenty years helping people connect through rhythm. She holds a Bachelor of Music Therapy and an ARCT from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto, and in 2003 she founded Music Magic, a practice built on the idea that music belongs to everyone, not just to trained musicians. Her work has taken her into corporate boardrooms, classrooms, seniors' residences, and community halls across the Bow Valley and beyond.
Weddings brought something new into focus. Corina saw how a single drum could turn a room of strangers into a room of friends, and how a shared rhythm could hold as much meaning as any speech. Drum-up Weddings grew from that, offering couples in the Bow Valley and beyond a way to bring their guests together that goes beyond watching and listening.
No drumming experience is required, for the couple or for their guests. Corina leads every session with patience, warmth, and a steady hand, so that everyone in the circle, from the flower girl to the grandparents, finds a rhythm they can keep.
